Local Rotarians to Promote Cruising Downtown Car Show on Radio
Brad Fournier and Norm Lavigne, two local Rotarians who help put on New Hampshire’s biggest car show for charity, will be appearing on the local radio show “Talking Cars” with Dick and Ron. The show airs on WFEA 99.9 FM and will be live on August 24th and 31st at 9am.
The car show, which is called the “Cruising Downtown”, is held every year in Manchester, New Hampshire on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It features over 100 classic cars, hot rods, and custom vehicles. The proceeds from the show benefit local charities.
Fournier and Lavigne have been involved with the car show for many years. They help with everything from organizing the event to registering the cars. They are also responsible for raising money for the charities.
“We are excited to be appearing on ‘Talking Cars’ to promote the Manchester Rotary club car show called Cruising downtown,” said Fournier. “We want to encourage everyone to come out to the show and support our local charities.”
“The car show is a great event for the whole family,” added Lavigne. “There will be something for everyone, from classic cars to hot rods to custom vehicles. We hope to see you there.”
The Rotary Wheels for Charity Show is a great way to enjoy classic cars, support local charities, and have a fun day out with the family. The show is free to attend, but donations are welcome.
In addition to appearing on “Talking Cars”, Fournier and Lavigne will also be promoting the car show on social media and through other channels. They are confident that the show will be a success and that they will be able to raise a lot of money for local charities.
“We are grateful for the support of Dick and Ron and the ‘Talking Cars’ audience,” said Fournier. “We know that together, we can make a difference in the lives of people in our community.”
The show is a great example of how Rotarians are making a difference in the world. By working together, they are able to raise money for important causes and make a positive impact on their communities.
